Nightside has proven again that she is one of the most creative writers of erotica currently publishing. This is a story told in the mind of the two protagonists: Rebecca, a frigid lawyer who has not had sex in three years and little before then, and Frank, a handyman who engages frequently in sex with no commitments. As part of a sex research project, they are placed in the same room, and soon come to dislike, if not hate, one another. But an experimental virus with which they have been injected, gradually causes their minds to lust more and more for each other, until they become raging sex-obsessed creatures. Unlike previous works by Nightside, Rebecca and Frank's bodies are just moderately attractive, nothing sexually alluring. Nor do their sex organs receive any enhancement during the couple's confinement. (Despite the picture on the cover, Rebecca, though blond, is at no time, during the story a vixen endowed with DD tits, barely contained in her bra. However, she might be in Frank's mind.) It is the two persons' self-perception and perception of the other person that dramatically alters. Rebecca becomes fixated on Frank's d.ck. Enthralled with images of its power, she comes to think of herself as a subservient slut, who wants to cum all of the time. This mental transformation is extraordinarily erotic. Frank, at first, oddly enough sympathizes with Rebecca's sexual inhibitions, and then finds it arousing as Rebecca becomes fascinated with his cock. Five stars for a fluid imagination.

Nadia Nightside really delivers the heat in her latest short story and she really delivers it well. I loved the fact that she, unlike most other authors within the Erotica genre, had also written in some background info on Frank and Rebecca which only served to enhance the storyline. Additionally, there was also a side bet between the observing scientists that I thought was rather comical. I had also found no typing or grammer errors and the overall storyline itself was pretty much a solid one.

I gladly give this book a 5 star rating :-)

Interesting premise

A really good start to something bigger. It's a little slower than normal for Nadia, but it is a good read later on. This book focuses a lot on the set up which isn't a bad thing at all and should definitely help out future installments in terms of pacing. So with that in mind...

It's really well done the experiment is pretty well described as are the effects as they're happening and how they're taking shape. All in all it's a pretty good read that's just a bit slow at the start.

She has taken an extraordinarily challenging situation and triumphed, and is anxious to share her experiences with others. Mix Masters? more like Recording Masters

This book was not helpful at all. It claimed to include all of these tips from the masters on how to MIX, but at least 80% of the book focused on each famous producers start as an engineer and their favorite gear. Very little detail was given about general mixing techniques and if it was, it was very vague. I would recommend the MIxing engineer's handbook instead.

Great Book

I am an audio engineer and I learned a lot from this book. One of the best things about it is that it contains information that is useful to everyone whether experienced or just starting out. The technical tips are good, but so are the stories of how the people interviewed became successful, and also their ideas and philosophies about recording and mixing music. I recommend this book.

I'm a musician and own my own home recording studio. I bought this book because I read a review of it that said it was a fun read and that I would learn a lot. It was, and I did. It has a conversational style that makes it easy to read, and it also has a lot of information from experts. I am glad I bought it, and I recommend it.

I read the comic version of this as a kid and it was much better than the book

This book takes FOREVER to get through - there is way too much backstory and way too many rabbit-trails. The movie got it right - focus on David's relationship with the gangs, specifically Nicky Cruz. Also there is inappropriate content for kids under 16. I read the comic version of this as a kid and it was much better than the book!
