Priscilla does it again!

I just just finished Emancipating Andie and I was in love. I was worried with the whole 3-way, love triangle thing. So many people are doing that. But I loved it. They didnt go over any boundaries. It was tastefully done and I really enjoyed it. I loved CHase, loved how he made Angie open up and try new things. I loved the first meeting in the cellar. He cracked me up, well he made me laugh pretty much the entire book. I loved the dancing scene at the wedding, I loved the scene where he thought something happened to her. I just loved this book, period. It was very well done and it was beautiful, intense. It had everything I would of hoped it did and more. Except a wedding and cute little Chase babies ;-) But hopefully one day there will be more. I loved the ending, it was a beautiful way to show the growth of Andie. Well done Priscilla, beautiful story. Must read all!!

Basic love triangle - very vanilla. Andie is stuck taking a road trip to a wedding with her boyfriend Colin's friend Chase, a cocky obnoxious man she met years ago. Andie is very straight laced & there is nothing wrong with her relationship with Colin - it's fine. He's nice looking, sex is good. Andie finds herself letting her guard down around Chase & he shows her that he can be thoughtful & sweet, and Andie hates to admit but sparks fly when she's around Chase whether he's picking on her to live a little or touching her. He finds out about the secret novel she's writing & encourages her to pursue her dreams, something Colin would never do. Nothing exciting about this story but a sweet romance.

Kuby Immunology: The bible of Immunology

I have six of the seven editions of the Kuby Immunology. It remains the best text book for budding immunologists for both undergrad and graduate level. It is especially useful for those of us working immunologists that find it difficult to keep pace with how rapidly our science is expanding in our level of understanding immunity. With advancements in molecular biology, we are constantly needing to review how we understand the immune system. Kuby is no longer just for undergrads. It also caters nicely for graduates and post-grads as well as it brings in the latest knowledge of immunology in a concise accessible manner for those of us applied immunologists.

Nice Update to a Classic Text

This is still a great textbook.

I used a much earlier edition of this text as an undergrad and it really helped me understand the basic science behind the complexities of the immune system. The 7th edition substantially changes the approach but it is still written by people that teach undergrad immunology and understand the concerns of students just beginning to learn this complex subject matter.

This edition adds much to the older version that I learned used doing especially well with the introduction of the microbiome and new regulatory cell types and tolerance.

Although a highly detailed book and the information is challenging for the memory, this book is written in a very comprehensible way and has all that a resident/specialist needs to know about immunology. Too much complicated for medical students or USMLE exams!

This was a comfortable read, and although I've read about the subject in the Bible and through other authors, this book has the most complete coverage and in depth explanation of Gog and Magog I've ever read. This is a must read for all Christians seeking to understand the end of days.

This is how I feel, he goes over and around and around the same topic till I was nauseated! He points out what he calls the Fall Feasts or the Jewish feasts as well as Israel's feasts. What the Bible says is these are the Lords Feasts, not Israel's. He is misguided and mislead by many End Time Teachers who teach Pre-Trib. He gives no explanations as to why he neglects many scriptures that teach the elect will go through tribulation. After reading over a dozen Pre-Trib., Pre-Wrath, and Post Trib. books this is by far the least Biblical.

Still a relevant source today (2015)

Packed with alternate views of many scholars and does a great job of filtering out scenarios that don't fit scriptures. I almost didn't buy this book because it came out a year before Bill Salus book "Isralestine" which announced the Psalm 83 prophetic prayer which steered prophetic thinking more clearly. I was wrong... Berner's book covered Psalm 83 also! Not surprising, it was God who made the first publication then pointed to it with the 2006 discovery of a centuries old bible buried in an Irish bog. That parchment was opened at Psalm 83 when it was found. It was like God saying "look guys, it's time you see this". Anyway, 2015 is when I read Berner's book and it is still relevant to events that have happened since it was published in 2007. I was astounded at the insights that he written at the time of Bush II, as though he had just written them with today's events under Obama and ISIS.
