Everybody can form a sect – take an axe and chop a tree – you’ll make a sect, or take a hammer and break a stone – you’ll make a sect. Sects are easy to make. In an American sect there was a quarrel over an issue –in the consecration of the Eucharist, is the glass supposed to be raised; however those who maintained that the glass was supposed to be raised, forgot to raise it. We often forget what we are preaching and the principle, which unites us. Our objective is to establish the Kingdom of God on Earth. I want to form a sect, but what sect that is? To be conductors of God’s law, which would overwhelm all minds and hearts, so that everybody – men, women, children – become sons of the Kingdom of God and start living here on Earth, the lives they should.

A true master

The stories of healings and miracles by a man who was clearly not an ordinary human being ARE truly extraordinary. It is wonderful to learn about this sage and loving teacher from Bulgaria who lived from 1884 to 1954. His teachings are ageless gifts that, if taken to heart and practiced, will do much to help heal our hearts and our planet. He was a highly educated man who loved Nature and understood how to collect its energies in a way to lift our spirit and increase health. The reason for giving only four stars is that this collection of priceless stories includes almost nothing about his background or personal life. Perhaps there is just not that much to say? The Master was a mystery, even as he wore his loving heart on his sleeve and saved the lives of many people. The fact that people still follow his practices and have organized around his teachings says a lot. I found the many typos a bit distracting. This book and the others on Master Duono that I have also read are in serious need of editing. That said, I know I have found a great teacher in Duono and I am grateful for the author/editor/publisher in bringing the Master to us today.

Enlightening stories not available elsewhere

For students of Beinsa Douno, this book presents valuable views into the life of this extraordinary spiritual teacher. It's probably not the best introduction to his teaching, nor is it a perfect translation. But if you can get past these issues, you will find much of value.
